Lost and Found..Guruji saves the day !

Earlier, when I used to read some of the satsangs mentioning how Guruji helped them to find their lost valuables, my logical mind thought, what are people doing? They are just getting Guruji in everything. Guruji for sure has better and bigger issues to solve, than to find their lost gold ring!!

Until...it happened with me too.

I generally keep my solitaire ring at one place, after I come back from office or in my handbag.  Nowhere else, since I have the habit of forgetting where have I kept things.  One fine day, before leaving for office, I looked at the same place but my ring was not there.  I looked in my handbag and it was still not there.  After coming back from office, I searched all the cupboards, it was nowhere. I really got worried then.  Since it is too expensive, I cant even tell it to my family that it is lost.  Also, I cant buy it again..what to do??

For the very first time, I spoke to Guruji mentally for a material thing, much against my wishes.  I told him 'Guruji, I have no courage to tell my family about this nor I can buy it again, please help me!!  Get someone to call me that they have found my lost ring..please please do something'.

I closed my eyes and suddenly something happened to me.  I went in the other room, opened my daughter's cupboard, looked underneath a stack of clothes and WOW..my ring was there!.  It is as if some magic has happened.  I thanked Guruji immensely but again the devil logical mind said 'it may be coincidence'.

Few weeks later, my daughter gave me her sunglasses to keep in my handbag.  After few days, she asked for it.  Again..the sunglasses were not in my handbag.  I again got worried since it was her birthday gift and pretty expensive.  This time I told my family and we all searched everywhere, but they were nowhere to be found.  We looked in all the cupboard, cars, drawers etc.!

Very reluctantly and helplessly, I had to speak to Guruji again for this small thing.  I told him 'Guruji, you know how dear these sunglasses are to my daughter, please help ..I promise I will be very careful in future'..  Just as I spoke to him, I immediately got up, opened my son's cupboard, and they were right there on the top.  How is it possible? We must have looked in his cupboard atleast 10 times earlier.

Both the times, it wasn't a  co-incidence, my mind has understood.

Guruji is always with us, listening, hearing and watching us..We just sometimes choose to ignore or term it as co-incidence.

Hastey Raha Karo..message from Guruji

There are days when you just want to meet Guruji or miss him so much..I guess it was one of those days, when I went to Bade Mandir on a Thursday.

There were many un-answered questions in my mind, too many things to thank him for, too much love and respect that I wanted to express   That day, Guruji kindly blessed me by making me sit near his Gaddi in Bade Mandir Hall.  As I listened to the soulful shabads, tears were just rolling down by eyes, out of Gratitude.

I didn't knew what to do at that moment, how do I express my gratitude to him, how do I get to see him , how do I seek answers for my unanswered questions. Amidst this dilemma, I was very happy with my eyes closed and tears of joy were continuously flowing down.  I wanted to hear one message from Guruji that will fulfill my soul.

After I had my Langar Prashad, generally I go to bow down again to Him before leaving.  That day, when I was again in the queue, I saw from far that  a new sewadaar (who was standing near Guruji's Gaddi) was continuously smiling at me.  I thought he must be mistaking me for someone else.  As I approached nearer, his smile got wider, as if he wanted to tell me something.  I thought he will say 'aap phir aa gaye, abhi toh aap maatha tek ke gaye they.. (you have come again? you came earlier also for bowing down).

But, to my surprise, as I came near to Guruji Gaddi where he was standing, he stopped me and sai ' Hastey Raha Karo, Guruji hai naa, sab sambhaal lenge'. (keep smiling, Guruji is there and he will take care of everything).

OMG..it cant get this direct, I thought.  What a big blessing and assurance from Guruji..I had seen this Sewadaar for the first time and had never spoken to him earlier.

Guruji knows best what and how.. leave it to him, all the time.

Mahashivratri Blessings & Sewa

I have always craved for Sewa at Bade Mandir but never got an opportunity to do so despite trying.  Thinking it to be Guruji's wish, I stopped contacting anyone for giving me Sewa at Bade Mandir.  It was my earnest wish to work in Bade Mandir kitchen and contribute in preparing Langar.

One day when I was eating Langar at Bade Mandir with my friend, two sewadaars were also sharing Langar with us.  Just for the sake of starting the conversation, I asked them :

Me : Uncle, you do Sewa here at Bade Mandir?
Him : Yes, we do
Me : OK
Him :  Aapko karni hai Sewa ?  (You want to do sewa)?
Me : Yes, but I can come only till 9 pm.
Him : Why?
Me : My children are small and I stay far.  So, I have to reach back home on time.
Him : (a bit angrily) OK, then raise your kids first and think about doing Sewa.

I was then quietly eating my Langar, when the Sewadaar uncle said 

'Listen, open Sewa hai.  Aapko teen din aana hai sewa karne'.  (you have to come 3 days to do sewa).
Kaise karna hai, yeh aap dekhiye, but aapko teen din sewa karne aana hai (how to do it, that you see, but you have to come for 3 days).

I was confused and excited at the same time.  The way he said it so authoritatively, it seemed like Guruji is ordering me to come.

I joined with my friend for Bade Mandir Sewa, before Mahashivratri and to my delight, was given Kitchen Sewa (which I always wanted).  On 2 days, Guruji blessed me with his fragrance while doing Sewa.  On third day, just a day before Mahashivratri, me and my friend were offered Langar Prashad distribution sewa in the afternoon as well as decoration sewa at Guruji's main Hall.

As I stepped in my car after doing 3rd day Sewa, a tiny waterdrop appeared on my handbag as Guruji blessing.

Such are ways of Guruji to bless his Sangat and reduce their Karmas.

Anniversary Gift & Wishes..from Guruji

Last year, on 12th of December was my wedding anniversary and I wanted Guruji's special blessings on that day.  Since it was a working day, I attended half day in office and was leaving for home in afternoon.

I wanted to go to Bade Mandir that day, but since it was Tuesday, Bade Mandir was closed.  I thought let me go to GK Mandir and pay my regards to Guruji.  Although, I knew it would be closed, but still, my heart was craving for his Darshan. I took Mithai Prashad for him, just in case the Mandir is open.

I went there and surprisingly, it was open!  I was happy !  But, Sevadaar uncle told me that the Mandir is not open for Darshan for Sangat.  I requested him to let me in for 1 minute, so that I can pay my regards to Guruji.  I told him that I have got Mithai Prashad and he got it blessed from Guruji.  Then I requested him to keep it in Mandir only for distribution.  He asked me my name and then told me 'please write your name on the Mithai Box' and I did that.

In my heart, I wanted some gift or blessings from Guruji.  As I stood to get up and go, the Sevadaar uncle didnt even give me Jal Prashad.  I was surprised since they give Jal Prashad to everyone who is in Mandir.  But, for the first time, I thought, I will not ask for any prashad from uncle.  If Guruji has to give me, he will give it to me anyway.  May be there is some good in it.

I went out after Darshan and was wearing my shoes when the uncle called out to me.  In his hands, was a full box of imported chocolates and he gave the entire box to me!

I was overwhelmed and full of Gratitude for Guruji, who surprised me and gave his blessings on my special day.

Thank you , thank you, thank you Guruji.

What is good for you..will come to you!

I was thinking of doing Yoga regularly but postponing it for some or the other excuse.  I was also trying to get a good and experienced teacher, but wasn't getting anyone.  Then suddenly I one day, I found a very good teacher and engaged him for teaching Yoga to me.  He is  a young and well built man, sports personality types. 

The day he came for the first class, I saw a dream at  night.

I saw that that a young and well built man, wearing sports track pants (same as my Yoga teacher) called me in an amphitheatre and said 'Aap Idhar Aayiye' (you come here).  When I went to him, he pressed my head, my neck, shoulders and spine and said 'Release Happiness' and I did that thinking 'He should have said 'Release Sadness' and not 'Release happiness'.

Then he asked me 'aapko kaisa lag raha hai' (how are you feeling) and I replied 'Very good, lagta hai bhagwaan ne aapko mere liye bheja hai' (It seems God has sent you for me).  He then started laughing in the dream and then the dream ended there.

2 days later, when my Yoga teacher came, he finished the entire session and then he asked me to close my eyes.  He pressed my head, neck shoulders and spine in the same manner as I saw in my dream.

I had tears in my eyes and it also confirmed my belief that Guruji wants me to do Yoga regularly as it is good for me, and this teacher is sent by him.  Guruji makes us do everything that is good for us!

So Satguru pyara mere naal hai...jithe kithe mainu leye chhaddai...

Guruji blessings for my daughter

Some time ago, my teenage daughter was running fever for
4-5 days without any apparent cough & cold, that suggested viral.  We feared that it could be dengue and called up doctor.  He suggested to get a Dengue & Urine test done and we did that.  When the reports came, her dengue test was negative but the urine test had some abnormality.  We sent the report to doctor and he mentioned that the report is not good and we should repeat the test after few days.

I showed her to a Gynaecologist and she also advised that report is not good and we should get at least 5-6 tests done. As a scared mother, I looked upto Guruji and told him to bless her as she is His grand daughter.  Contrary to gynaecologist's advise, I decided to wait for few more days and then repeat her urine test.  Meanwhile, I prayed and I prayed hard to Guruji.

During the following weekend, my husband had to go to his office for some work in South Delhi and I accompanied him.  For some strange reason I wanted to eat chocolate that day, but there was none at home. I told him that we will go  and eat something outside, after he finishes his work.  That day, there was a lot of traffic jam everywhere.  Wherever we wanted to go to eat, GPS was showing a lot of traffic.

I suddenly told my husband 'I think Guruji is calling us to his Mandir, lets go there' and he agreed.  We reached there and the Mandir was closed.  We did pranaam from outside and went to nearby Market to eat and shop.  After an hour, on our return, I told him 'Lets try again for Mandir, may be its open now'.  We went there and surely it was open.  The sevadaar uncle welcomed us as if he was very happy to see us.  We definitely were happy to meet Guruji.

Then the sevadaar uncle, gave 2 bottles of Jal Prashad, one for me and one for my husband.  Also, along with it were 2 chocolate prashad, which I wanted to eat at home.

I told him 'Uncle, can I get the Jal Prashad for my daughter too'.  He paused for 2 seconds and said 'Aap isme se ek ghoont pee lijiye, mei isme Guruji kaa Jal daal deta hoon' (You drink one sip from this Jal Prashad bottle, and then I will put Guruji's Jal in this bottle for your daughter').  

One cannot imagine the ecstasy and blessings I felt during that moment.  He went inside the kitchen and got Guruji's Jal in it.  All my fears faded away and I thanked Guruji's immensly.  On reaching home, I gave the entire Jal Prashad bottle to my daughter to drink.

Sure enough, we repeated the test after few days, and it was perfectly normal.

Don't ask..Just believe and surrender!

Guruji very well know what we need and what we wish..But I believe that he grants us our wishes as per his time and plan, balancing our Karmas!

My husband has been at a senior level job with a US based startup, but on contractual basis.  Every year his contract would get renewed.  For this, he had to travel quite frequently to US and also stay there around 5-6 months in a year.  He was looking for a permanent job in India, particularly in Delhi/NCR, but wasn't getting any interview calls or job offers.

But, we had never requested or asked Guruji about this.  We firmly believed that when the time is right according to Guruji, he will do something good for his job and Guruji knows everything.  Our role is just to believe in Guruji's timings and surrender to his will.

Then one fine day, quite recently, my husband got a interview call through Linkedin.  He went and met the Management and had relevant  discussions.  The moment I heard that the organisation is based in Delhi (not even Gurgaon), I knew it is Guruji's will and I was very sure that he will get through this job.

Few days later, he was offered a permanent job at a very good senior position, with an excellent CTC hike and the  position is based in Delhi! Even we couldn't have asked for all this!

Surrender is  a simple word but quite difficult to follow and those who are able to do it..get the choicest divine blessings.
